1.Overview

○ Date : August 6-8 (3days)

○ Place : Daejeon Convention Center (DCC) www.dcckorea.or.kr

○ Host : International Youth Robot Association (IYRA), Daejeon Metropolitan City

○ Participation : About 300 persons from more than 10 nations

○ Costs: consult with your National HQs.

* IYRA National Partners : Korea, China, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Indonesia, Vietnam, Spain, Israel, South Africa, Azerbaijan and Kuwait

5th August (Wed.): Welcome! Arrival at Hotel near Venue

6th August (Thur.):

11:00 ~ Registration & Referee Meeting

13:00~15:00 Build Robot & Test

15:00~18:00 Competition (Game 1~5)

18:00 ~Welcome Dinner (all)

7th August (Fri.):

9:00~12:00 Build Robot & Test

13:00~17:00 Competition (Game 1~6)

Experience Korean Culture (only foreigners)

18:00 ~ Pizza Party & Workshop(for adult)/Recreation(for kids)

8th August (Sat.):

10:00~ 12:00Prizing & Closing Ceremony

12:00 ~ : individualTravel or go to Airport

3. For Participants

- Accommodation will be reserved for foreign participants by organizer.

- Participating teams are recommended to join two or three Categories.

(e.g. Steam Mission + Robot Soccer or Steam Mission + Golf Robot + Coding Mission, etc.)

- Registrated Team will be provided with;

Local Transportation during game days

Accommodation : University Dormitory near Venue for 3 nights

Meals : 2 time dinner and 3 time lunch

Local Tour & Culture Performance

Souvenir and T-Shirts

Trophy and Certificate

Special Medical Tour with reasonable price (only for those who want) etc.

If you want to participate in IYRC 2015 and don’t know how?

We have official National Partners who have rights to select teams in their region and dispatch them to IYRC 2015. So please contact your nation’s partner to join us. If you send email to us at harryrohhk@gmail.com, you will be informed.

5. Game Categories

1) Kinder Mission

Level : 6-7 years old

Team : 1 participants and 1 robot per team

Mission : Solve simply addition or subtraction with remote control robot

2) Steam Mission

Level : 7-12 years old

Team : 1 participant and 1 robot per team

Mission : Solve robot quiz ad calculation quiz, 5 missions total.

3) R-Sports Mission (Individual-Golf)

Level : 7-12 years old

Team : 1 participant and 1 robot per team
